Job Description

Documentation representatives, also known as document specialists or document control specialists, manage a company's documents. Their duties include: 
 
  • Document managementOrganize, maintain, and store documents like contracts, invoices, and legal records
  • Document securityEnsure documents are stored securely and easily accessible
  • Document accuracyEnsure documents are accurate and consistent
  • Document version controlTrack and manage document versions
  • Document creationCreate, revise, and format documents
  • Document supportProvide support for document-related projects
  • Document trainingTrain employees on how to use documents
  • Document collectionCollect and prepare supporting documentation
  • Document reviewReview documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Document system maintenanceMaintain document management systems and ensure they are implemented effectively
Documentation representatives should have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. They should also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle large amounts of data.
