Key responsibilities of a barista representative:

Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and take orders.

Engage with customers to understand their preferences and make drink recommendations.

Answer questions about the menu and ingredients.

Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor.
Drink Preparation:
Grind fresh coffee beans according to the required consistency.

Prepare a variety of coffee drinks including espresso, latte, cappuccino, Americano, cold brew, etc.

Properly operate espresso machines and other brewing equipment.

Ensure consistent quality and presentation of drinks.

May create latte art
Operational Tasks:
Stock and replenish supplies as needed.

Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar and equipment.

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Handle cash transactions accurately

May assist with food preparation or display
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of different coffee origins, roast profiles, and brewing methods

Ability to operate coffee equipment proficiently

Strong customer service skills and communication abilities

Attention to detail and ability to work quickly under pressure
