Responsibilities:

Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all departments (front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, etc.) run efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff, ensuring that they deliver high-quality service and meet the hotel’s standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages staff engagement and retention.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Guest Services:
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement programs and initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Financial Management:
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to monitor income, expenses, and profitability.
- Analyze financial data and identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Manage pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Marketing and Sales:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies to promote the hotel and attract guests.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and other partners to drive business.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust marketing strategies as needed.

Maintenance and Safety:
- Ensure that the hotel premises are well-maintained, safe, and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee routine maintenance and repairs, coordinating with contractors and vendors as needed.

Housekeeping Oversight:
- Review the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Establish and enforce housekeeping policies and procedures.

Event Planning and Coordination:
- Manage the planning and execution of events, conferences, and banquets held at the hotel.
- Collaborate with clients to customize event packages and ensure all details align with guest expectations.

Reporting and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of hotel activities, inventory, occupancy rates, and other key performance indicators.
- Prepare reports for ownership or management, detailing occupancy, revenue, and operational challenges.

Crisis Management:
- Develop and implement emergency procedures to address potential crises or challenges, such as natural disasters, guest incidents, or staffing shortages.

Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure the hotel operates in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including labor laws, health codes, and licensing requirements.
Requirements
- Degree:
- A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is often preferred. Some positions may require a master’s degree (e.g., MBA with a focus on hospitality).
