Job Description
Financial reporting
- Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Prepare management accounts, which are regular financial reports that provide insights into a company's performance
Financial analysis
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Use financial ratios and other techniques to analyze financial data
Budgeting
- Develop budgets that align with a company's strategic goals
- Monitor adherence to budgets
Tax preparation Prepare tax returns for a company, Provide tax planning services, and Offer strategies for managing and reducing tax burdens.
Financial advice
- Forecast future income and expenses to help businesses and individuals make decisions
- Help organizations stay within budget and meet financial goals
Other responsibilities
- Audit financial information
- Analyze business plans
- Deal with insolvency situations
- Negotiate business deals with clients
- Meet and interview clients
- Manage colleagues
