Job Description
Inventory management
- Receiving and verifying goods
- Maintaining inventory records
- Monitoring stock levels
- Replenishing supply inventories
- Rotating stock and disposing of surplus and expired quantities
- Ensuring proper storage of goods
Compliance and safety
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Maintaining a neat, clean, and safe working environment
Order fulfillment processes Picking and packing orders, Ensuring timely deliveries, Preparing and verifying shipping documents, and Coordinating with external warehouses to facilitate the movement of goods.
Other responsibilities Conducting stock counts, Reconciling discrepancies, Reporting damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement, and Keeping an organized allocation of inventory placed in warehouse and store.
Skills
Storekeepers should have good customer service, management, organization, and professionalism skills. They should also be knowledgeable about storekeeping methods.
