Job Description
Financial reporting
- Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Create financial reports, such as profit and loss statements
- Present financial data to investors, managers, and other entities
Financial analysis Analyze financial data to identify trends, Analyze business plans, and Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis.
Budgeting
- Develop budgets for departments or projects
- Analyze financial health, historical data, market trends, and growth projections
Taxation
- Prepare tax returns and tax payments
- Provide tax planning services
- Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits
Compliance
- Comply with company, state, and country's accounting and financial regulations
- Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes
Record keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Perform audits and solve errors
