Job Description
Food preparation
- Prepare ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meat
- Prepare simple dishes like breads and salads
- Mix condiments, dressings, and sauces
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specs
- Prepare food for events, restaurants, and cafes
Dishwashing
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware by hand or using a dishwasher
- Stock serving stations, cupboards, and refrigerators with dishes and utensils
- Take out the trash
- Sanitize kitchen surfaces
Kitchen cleanliness
- Ensure work areas are safe, clean, and orderly
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes
- Clean and maintain proper food safe and sanitary standards
- Receive and put away deliveries
